KOBOLD DSV. These float meters have a cylindrical float tube with conical grooves around the circumference. This eliminates the usual problems of guiding the cylindrical float in a tapered measuring glass. This design with the provision of an appropriately sized annular gap of constant width between the float and the flow tube has allowed the sensitivity of the dirt to be significantly reduced. The float contains a magnet which acts on a bistable reed contact external to the measuring tube
