PRESS RELEASE 2024-03-10

El-Watch and Swedish Kompauto partner to bring innovative technology to the Scandinavian market

At the maintenance fair "Underhåll" in Gothenburg on March 12-15, Norwegian El-Watch and Swedish Kompauto are joining forces for the first time to offer wireless IoT sensors to the 10,000 visitors expected at the fair. There are high expectations for both the fair and the collaboration. Both parties are clear that the time is more than ready for the industry to take advantage of the significant opportunities presented by data-driven decisions related to monitoring and maintenance.

"Plug & Play

Kompauto Nordic is a well-established company in supplying high quality measuring instruments to the Scandinavian process industry. They specialize in providing solutions for flow, pressure and level measurement of compressed air, gas and liquids, ensuring that customers have the data they need to optimize their operations. In addition, Kompauto offers complete efficiency improvement packages for compressed air systems, helping customers to reduce costs and energy consumption.

  • We are excited to announce the addition of the revolutionary neuron sensor series from El-Watch to our product portfolio, says Business Developer Jonas Lindgren at Kompauto.
  • These innovative sensors use cutting-edge communication technology to deliver fast and easy installation of wireless communication of process data in demanding industrial environments.

Kompauto now offers both its expertise in measuring process applications together with the Neuron "Plug & Play" wireless data transmission solution. It will help customers to both choose the right measurement method while easily forwarding the measurement data wirelessly, and significantly more cost-effectively than via traditional (PLC) transmission solutions, both to the cloud and into customers' SCADA/monitoring systems.

Neuron sensors - a perfect match for Kompauto

Kompauto claims that Neuron sensors will be ideal for their existing customer base.

  • The versatility and performance of Neuron caters for various applications in our customers' processes, perfectly tailored to the needs of our existing customer base. The system also integrates seamlessly with our existing product range, offering a comprehensive set of solutions for all measurement needs," says Lindgren and continues:
  • We have high expectations for this collaboration. We expect significant growth in both sales of our existing product range as customers take advantage of the enhanced features offered by Neuron sensors, and stand-alone sales of Neuron sensors themselves due to their innovative technology and attractive value proposition.
Onboarding

In the fall of 2023, Tom Eskil Grande from El-Watch was contacted by the Swedish company. Kompauto had been recommended El-Watch's solutions by one of their customers who wanted to use this wireless sensor system. After a presentation of the Neuron solution, the Swedish team was fully on board and it quickly became apparent that a partnership was the way forward.

  • For Kompauto, there is a nice upside as a partner to be able to offer Neuron sensors to digitize their existing products and to offer Neuron as a standalone solution that provides added value to customers in need of IoT sensors," says Grande.
  • The chemistry between our companies was there from the first second, and it quickly became clear to me that the two companies shared the same vision of the way forward. We have gotten to know a great team with strong expertise. Kompauto covers large parts of the Swedish market with its head office in central Sweden, has offices in Norway and also works in Denmark via its office in Skåne. This fits very well with our geographical focus, says Tom Eskil Grande.

Jonas Lindgren has no doubt that Kompauto's end customers will benefit greatly from this collaboration.

  • Neuron sensors will help customers optimize process efficiency through significantly reduced costs and improved presentation of measurement data. They will gain new and valuable insights to make data-driven decisions," says Lindgren, who is keen to add the new product to his toolbox.
